How To Apply

During this transition to digital permits, you will be asked to register for an online account
(or contact us so we can set one up for you) during your regular renewal time. You will still need to provide your vehicle registration to apply.

If you aren’t able to use the online system to set up your account, you will need to present your documentation again after two years.

Online Application and Renewal

When your residential parking zone comes up for its regular renewal, Click Here to complete the online application process. You will receive an email notification alerting you when your application has either been approved or if it requires more information.

  • You will still need your vehicle registration to apply for your residential parking permit.
  • You will no longer receive a physical pass or hang tag. Once your application has been approved, your online permit will be assigned to the licence plate of the vehicle that is registered to your address.

No Internet Access?

If you do not have access to the internet, we are here to help. To apply, you can come into our office with the required documents, or you can send us copies of your vehicle registration via fax or mail and then call us at 403.537.7000 to create your account.
