A: If the vehicle’s licence plate remains the same, you do not need to do anything. If you are changing licence plates, you would cancel your existing permit within your RPP account and apply for a new RPP permit with the required documentation for your new vehicle. Your application will be reviewed and approved by a CPA staff member before you can use your new permit.
