A: Residents living at qualifying addresses can apply for a permit, which is valid for two years, whenever they require the permit. We will send you an email to remind  when it is time to renew based on the date your permit was approved. If you don’t move and your vehicle registration documentation hasn’t changed, you won’t need to submit your documentation when you apply to have your permit renewed.
